Employer Sponsored Permanent Visa

Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS)

In this category, an Australian employer can sponsor a permanent resident visa application for a highly-skilled employee who has previously worked with the employer or other similar employer in Australia for a period of not less than 2 years. Generally an applicant under this visa should have at least 3 years post qualification experience, be aged less than 45 years of age, have vocational English language ability and must be nominated by the employer for a position attracting a annual base salary of AU $ 151,000 (excluding superannuation or allowances).

ENS process consists of 2 stages

Stage 1: Nomination by the employer.

Stage 2: Nominee’s application for the visa.

Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS)

Australian businesses in regional or low population growth areas of Australia can fill skilled positions that they are unable to fill from the local labour market by employing overseas qualified skilled workers. Such employers must first get a certificate from the regional certifying body having satisfied certain requirements. The Employer can then nominate an identified candidate for the visa. Generally the nominee must have relevant qualifications, must have worked on a temporary visa for at least 2 years, be aged below 45 years and have functional English language ability.

RSMS visa is processed in the following 3 Stages

Stage 1: Certification of the nomination

Stage 2: Nomination by the employer

Stage 3: Nominee's application for the visa
