Business Visa Categories
This category is designed to attract people with business skills who can contribute to enhance Australian economy – by developing links with international markets; facilitating the creation or maintenance of employment in Australia; exporting Australian goods and services; manufacturing goods or providing services in Australia; introducing new technology or by increasing commercial activity.
These visas offer a two stage process for immigrants to become a permanent resident. Initially applicants are offered a temporary (provisional) visa, and after successfully establishing business or maintained an investment in Australia for 2-4 years, they are eligible to apply for a permanent (resident) visa.
